It took me time to fell in love with the Blandings series but by book 3 Blandings Castle I was won over.

Have you seen the TV show?

Am I alone in thinking that a wand of death is clearly the Elder Wand? Ashe, Ashe, Ashe, it could have been you instead of JK Rowling...

Edit: Dang, read further along. My theory blew up in my face. The good news is that I finally got invested in the story and started liking Ashe.
