What is unique about the setting of the book and how does it enhance or take away from the story?

The unique part of the setting in this story is the fact that they are in the future with all these different types of technology like for example the bar code tattoo,it does everything but can also malfunction.the main part of this setting is the school and the neighborhood,that is where all the main problems are occurring right now.All these future technologies are ruining people's lives and causing a disturbance,the school policies are changing,they only need tech kids,no are scholarships,no beauty scholarships.The people who invented all this futuristic technology only need mindless drones.

The part of the setting that is unique is that it takes place in the future. And in the future they are giving out bar code tattoos which can control the peoples lives that have them. The setting is taking place at school. Some kids are trying to stop people from getting bar code tattoos. The main character does not want to get a tattoo and support the kids who are trying to stop people from getting tattoos. But her friend wants her to get a tattoo because she wants her to be like everyone else.

The unique part of the setting is that it takes place in the future. There is a lot of different kinds of technology including a tattoo that controls everything in your life but it also can cause problems. The setting is in a school and neighborhood. There are so many problems that are occurring and the problems are with the new technology.

I like what you dated and it made me think of her friend,if the bar code tattoo made her life miserable then why in the world is she trying to get her friends life miserable to.

I agree with your statement because I thought the same thing that the tattoos are ruining peoples lives and I also think in the perspective of looking in the future they will ruin the human population and what ever the kids will do in their future lives

I agree with you Leah because in the future there is new technology that can control different things. And lots of people can try to get you to do things.

the unique part is it's very futuristic. Based on the fact that it's past 2020. it's also very futuristic because of the technology through the bar codes. it's also futuristic because of the fact that the tattoo parlors are linked with the government by knowing how to find where someone is just by looking at there bar code. The most unique part about this book is how real it seems.
