I am nominating Last of the Curlews

I will second the nomination. I love reading about birds, so I am sure this is interesting.

I want to read this book too, even though I know it is such a sad book. My daughter read it when she was 10, so I think it is time I read it now, many years later.

Last of the Curlews it is then, for March 2017

I am glad it is Last of the Curlews. I saw animated film of it as an Afterschool TV Special somewhere around 1972.
