Constant Reader discussion

In past month, I suddenly can't access bookstore sites, like AbeBooks, et al, from "Stores" link under page for any book posted on GR. Is Amazon blocking these sites again, like they did briefly when they first bought GR? (I have no problem accessing Amazon from GR.) I'm trying to figure out if the problem is with my browser or something else. Anyone else having this problem? Thanks.

Fine here, too, and I use Safari. I had to look for this link. I'd never used it before.

I'm not familiar with Safari: is it a browser or app of some kind? (the world of apps is a mystery to me).

I suspect problem may be related to Google Chrome, which I inadvertently added recently. About same time, I noticed I couldn't access some websites embedded in emails, such as e-nudges from ebay re books I was "watching."

Safari is the browser for Macs.

But I also have Google Chrome and it works there for me, too.

Maybe you have some setting that prevents the links from working.

Yes, I think you're right. I've begun tunneling into virtual world of settings. Send the tech canines out if you don't hear from me in 3 days.
