Matthew Garcia In Sophie's World, the main character is Sophie Amundsen. She is a young girl learning about life. Her father is away and her mother is always at work. So she spends most of her time by herself. The conflict for Sophie is learning about life in a new perspective. She is introduced by a mysterious letters that talks about life. She is intrigued by it and chooses to question life. Will she be learning more of life?

Overall, I really enjoyed the book. It opened up some new ideas for me about life. It has taught me to appreciate life more and to enjoy what I have in life. That I shouldn't take it for granite and that I should live to the fullest.

I would have enjoyed the book more if I could understand it better. It was filled with concepts that were hard to understand for me. I was concerned about not understanding it too well and getting the concept on what it was talking about. The only offensive content that might be was questioning any religions.

Some good things that may come from reading the book is it will give you a better outlook on life. It will touch you in ways that you haven't thought about life and give you a better meaning to life and what you have in it.

My favorite quote would have to be "What if you slept>? And what if, in your sleep, you dreamed? And what if, in your dream, you went to heaven and there plucked a strange and beautiful flower? And what if, when you awoke, you had a flower in your hand. Ah, what then?" since it makes me question life if that were to really happen. To me it is an eye opening to questions about life.
