Upper Elementary Book Review discussion

Stanley Yelnats is accused of stealing a pair of tennis shoes and is sentenced to a juvenile detention work site called Camp Green Lake. There, he meets several interesting characters and realizes more is going on with them having to dig holes than just building good character. This story has action, adventure, bad boys,and lizards - great ways to appeal to young male readers. I would recommend for fifth and sixth grade boys (advanced fourth as well).
