I can't do it without tonnes of caffiene or an alcholic drink or two to quell the stutter. Bad crutch, I know!I get absolutely petrified when I have to talk in front of people, especially because of my stutter. I'm curious about that book...

Mine's not shyness. I don't know what it is. I get an AWFUL adrenaline surge. My voice chokes down. Everything goes into slow motion. My brain goes off in a thousand different directions — except for the connection between the speech centers and my mouth . . . It a horrible feeling.I don't even play video games because I get that adrenaline surge. It's . . . a hideous feeling.
