I hope the article helps you, Jessica. I was terrified, too, at one time. You just have to change the way you look at public speaking. You can do it!

K.P. Merriweather (kp_merriweather) | 47 comments I can't do it without tonnes of caffiene or an alcholic drink or two to quell the stutter. Bad crutch, I know!

I get absolutely petrified when I have to talk in front of people, especially because of my stutter. I'm curious about that book...

Renee E | 49 comments Mine's not shyness. I don't know what it is. I get an AWFUL adrenaline surge. My voice chokes down. Everything goes into slow motion. My brain goes off in a thousand different directions — except for the connection between the speech centers and my mouth . . . It a horrible feeling.

I don't even play video games because I get that adrenaline surge. It's . . . a hideous feeling.
