I'm through Chapter 10 and I am enjoying it so far. It's really well written and I like that it has the zombie's POV. I've read a lot of zombie books, and this perspective is different from what I've seen in the past. It might end up having some philosophical elements as well. Like what it means to be human, since Melanie seems a likable, smart character. That happens to be a zombie!

I agree. But I will admit, I'm having a hard time emotionally with it. My teacher heart and mom heart keep kicking in and it's giving me some anxiety!

I can totally see you as a Miss Justineau in a situation like this! I admit I'd be a bit wary of Melanie (scared of being eaten)..but think I'd learn to trust her since her goodness seems to outweigh her hungry nature. I'm so interested to see where it goes. Things escalated quickly!

Yes they did! I'm already on chapter 37 so I'm having a hard time remembering what happened when.
