Who's Your Author? discussion

Is anyone else beyond excited for The Turn by Kim Harrison? I am and can't wait to get my hands on it next week. What are your hopes with the book?

Doesn't look very interesting. I have ony read one ofher books and couldn't stand the protagonist.

I am actually excited about it. I probably will not read it until next month. Just landed a new client which is great but anything I read has to be total fluff.

Oh I am sorry to hear that I love Rachel.

One of my friends recommended the series - only a couple of the characters were likable at all in the book.

I'm looking forward to this one. I have it on pre-order at audible. My only problem is that the new In Death book comes out the same day, which I've also pre-ordered. It will be tough to decide which one to listen to first.

I'm so excited i can't wait. I'm most looking forward to getting to know the parents of Rachel and Trent better. And to read about the event that is talked about through the whole series.

Anne what book did you read? The first book wasn't great and even Kim herself has admitted that she could have done better with it. But it was originally a short story that she wrote as a bit of a satire and she never intended to release it. But it was done as kind of a hail Mary.

Dead Witch Walking - hated it. The main character was awful, as were most of the others.

Oh gotcha. I love the characters. But I don't think everyone had to love the same books. :) I'm definitely excited thiugh

I mean though stupid phone.
