Thank you for the humor, Heather - much needed in these times! I especially like Princess Mona Leia!

"How many people does it take to custom tile and set 163 mosaic panel risers? Well, in this case, an entire neighborhood. The inaugural climb of the 16th Avenue Tiled Steps Project commenced on Saturday, August 27th, 2005, where honored neighbors and volunteers took their first walk up this meticulously designed and executed work of art, a community’s legacy left to the Golden Gate Heights neighborhood of San Francisco. Over 300 neighbors helped artists Aileen Barr and Colette Crutcher make the highly detailed panels, in addition to the 220+ neighbors who added long-lasting significance to this project by sponsoring hand painted and personalized animal, bird and fish tiles. What a show stopper."

You have to admire the craftsmanship of #14, but it looks so uncomfortable. Even the armrests aren't horizontal.
What is the name of the artist who did the horse sculpture. I believe the same artist is in the permanent collection here at the local museum in Merida, Mexico, the MACAY. That sculpture is of a bull but we only have its head.
Art on Human Faces....from http://oddstuffmagazine.com/15-weird-...
A few examples. More at the link above. I'm not sure who made these.

Geoffrey wrote: "If you tread the staircase correctly can you play chopsticks in China?"I don't know if you could play chopsticks with only two legs unless you are very flexible! Perhaps with two people. Or maybe one could play Fur Elise... but then you would have to jump.
Good one, Geoffrey!

Almost creepy!

I Photographed The Graffiti Of Latin AmericaI travel a lot. And one of my travel projects is shooting street art. Thanks to street art, you can understand a lot about the country, about culture, about the place.

Thanks for sharing these images, Heather! The variations of Mona Lisa were really funny and these latter graffiti are thought provoking; e.g. in message 33.
