Hi! My name is Rachel. I'm 30 and live in Delaware. I have always loved fantasy but I think I REALLY started loving fantasy after reading the Harry Potter series lol. I think that and the Lord of the Rings are my favorites. I found this readathon through twitter specifically the @readathonews account. I look forward to participating with everyone! :)
Hellooooo My name is Anna. I'm 32 and live in Malaysia, but a part of me calls San Jose, California home. (The stupid nostalgic part of me that doesn't make sense because I was there for a total of what, 6 months, sporadically? LOL)

I grew up on Narnia and Enid Blyton (sorry, colonial influence, we're pretty Brit) and cut my teeth on LOTR at maybe 12. I liked Harry Potter mainly because of the boarding school influence (overall: eh, okay), but right now my Fantasy binges are somewhere between Robin Hobb and Brandon Sanderson.

I always liked reading but I only got into reading high fantasy about a year (or two) ago because of a good friend of mine.I joined the group because I watched Catroina's (LittleBookOwl) video about readathons happening this year and got invested right away, because Dragons!

So, my name is Jordan. I'm 25, live in North Carolina. My earliest fantasy reads where Artemis Fowl, Harry Potter, LOTR, Eragon, His Dark Materials, etc. I've been obsessed with fantasy since a young age and just wanted some more encouragement to read from my favorite genre. I'm also big into fantasy RPGs :)
