Jülie ☼♄  (jlie) | 6581 comments I recently read Between a Wolf and a Dog by Georgia Blain, it was a 5* read for me :)

Ironically I read it just days before the author's sad passing.

I wouldn't mind reading An Isolated Incident - don't know about any others though :)

Michelle_Mck | 187 comments An Isolated Incident is on my bedside table, The Hate Race is a great read, I grew up in the Hills and Hawkesbury at the same time (80's) it all rang so true, of the list its a great one, I have given it as a gift 5 times so far.

Carolyn | 9955 comments I've only read two, The Museum of Modern Love and An Isolated Incident, quite different books, both very good but not extraordinary. I'd like to read Dying: A Memoir and Between a Wolf and a Dog, but haven't rushed to get to them because of the topics and that both authors have passed away since writing them. My money's on one of those two or The Hate Race which sounds really good.

And the winner is:

The Museum of Modern Love by Heather Rose The Museum of Modern Love by Heather Rose

Carolyn | 9955 comments Well, I clearly guessed that one wrong! It is good and very unusual, but Georgia Blain's book Between a Wolf and a Dog seemed to be getting such a lot of notice I thought it would win for sure.

You wrote a very positive review of it Carolyn. You nearly convinced me to read it. Nearly:)

Gosh, I did write a positive (and long!) review. I did enjoy it although I don't really 'get' performance art. I think the quote by David Walsh, the founder of MONA, in the book blurb sums it up - "weirdly beautiful"!
