!!!Septimus Heap!!! discussion

What is it about Septimus Heap that makes it more special than the other book series out there? Or do you think that the Septimus Heap series isn't as good as a different series?

Um..it's not as popular as Harry Potter,definately.There's also A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS,that doesn't seem to be so popular,atleast comparitively,right?What about you?

I like the The books of Pellinor better.

Yup....you can't even imagine comparing it to HP!

Yeah. It deserves a little more attention though, I think. At least it gets a movie. I think that the principles of Magyk are very well written in this book. There's a lot of detail, which I enjoy. I think the character development is really good as well, and I bet it will get better as the characters get older.

I'm hoping the movie will help make the series more popular.

Something I like about SH compared to other books is the way Angie Sage writes the Magyk in the story. In a lot of books it's wand-waving and reciting a bunch of Latin, but in SH it's all about concentration. I love how she emphasizes how addicting Magyk can be and how it can affect you. Sometimes, when you think you are controlling the Magyk, it is controlling you. Especially with Darke Magyk.

If you read Magyk,her words will make you want to read the rest!
