They are mostly used for cookbooks and other household books with multiple unknown contributors. In many cases Various is also attributed.

What should be done?

For any of them where an actual human author can be identified (book cover, Amazon's Look Inside, WorldCat, or even book in hand), they should be listed and the publisher should not.

All others should be listed under a single corporate author. I vote for Hamlyn Publishing Group.

This might be a good thread for the Looking for a Project folder.
