Lynecia (luvnecia) I nominate Invisible Life by E. Lynn Harris - I think there is a huge blind spot when it comes to this conversation about reading more writers of color, and I think it's when it comes to contemporary fiction. We focus on the "literary" stuff!

(It's not officially out in the UK until next year but you can buy it online. Won't be in libraries though)

It's displayed there already. It's at the bottom of the page. You just have to scroll down.
