Did not like Vivia in the first book. But now I love her.

Same. I feel like she has more depth now that we get to read in her point of view. I liked seeing her opinion and how she reacts in certain situations. She was really annoying in the first book, but now i love reading her chapters. Kinda reminds me of how i felt reading Heir of Fire by SJM, when reading Manon's scenes, they were boring and now, i wait in anticipation for her chapters!!!

Yeah same. Although I wasn't that interested in her chapters throughout windwitch I was beginning to be interested in the end.

I like reading her chapters when she is talking about the underground magic and her mother, i feel like they are really serene scenes in a, i guess chaotic book. Like the other scenes are working towards finding each other and like preventing war and stuff. I feel like hers are a break and I also like the council meeting chapters, they're interesting.

I just feel like Viva has a different goal to the other characters, and like hers is more about building herself, and proving that she can be strong and lead a poor nation like Nurbervia or however you spell it, that just because everyone else believes that males can only rule, is going to stop her from proving that she has the same capability as any other proceeder.
