Young Beginner Writers (closed) discussion

Hello everyone! Yes, we will be having a competition this month! *throws confetti* All entries must either relate to Valentine's or can be on that day or just anything about it. All entries must be from 1000 - 5000 words! And you have until today and March 1st to post your amazing entry! Then on March 2nd, this topic will be closed and a poll will be set up so members can vote for their favorite story. If you have any questions, please ask a moderator. Have fun everyone!

"August and September- the two months just beyond the halfway mark (both in terms of year and relationship). One was a breezy, go-with-the-flow yet stormy sort of character, while the other was mildly harsh but quite agreeable on a good day. Both were attendees of Late Summer High (rather fittingly named- perhaps too much so), and both had declared their relationship to the masses while standing on the bleachers during the middle of football practice. This event was to start a chain- one to begin with this happy moment of certainty in their lives, and to end just as Summer always does…

I've started working on something! :D Hopefully I can be done by the deadline- I'll try to make it as short as possible. What think you guys?

Go for it! Even if you don't hit the deadline or the word limits, totally write it! You can share it in the Stories folder later if it doesn't work out for the competition. Your synopsis sounds fun! Can't wait to see it!

Also, to all, I'll make a folder for the entrees as we've had for the past competitions, so please post your work there!!

Awesome! It's next on my reading list! I just finished the entries in BRWW! I loved the Charming Man!

Haha! Sorry about that ending though. ; ) I'll probably continue it in another entry or put it in Creative Writing or something. :D

Oh I am talking about The Charming Man. :D Because The Charming Man is also another excerpt from A Summer's Place. And so is It's Called a Heart. ^.^ Sorry for being confusing.

I like it! The end did feel a little rushed, but I think it'll smooth itself out when you get everything put together. You should take all these cool clips, Winter's Place, Heart, and Charming Man and put them all in a folder together with your first storyline, like a collection!

Oh! Hey! I finally got a plot idea for my mermaid story (thanks to a lot of help from my sister!) and I'm SUPER excited about working on it again!!!

Hehe. Well I kind of did that with Creatuve Writing. Except I put all my entries from writing competitions in it. ^.^
