The old leaves and grass were quiet underfoot as the wolf padded through the shadows. It's brown and grey-black coat blended in with the surrounded woods as it stalked its prey. Sister Wolf focused in on the hunt, her ears perked and her body ready to pounce, while Danika, her human soul nestled inside the wolfs body, thought of sleep. Uninterested in the comfort of a pillow, Danika's wolf half waited as the little bunny turned its back on the predator. Danika prepared herself for her wolf's attack, when a shift in the wind brought Sister Wolf's attention elsewhere. Though Danika was grateful not to have the fluffy rabbit on the menu, the wolf rolled her eyes and huffed, though her hackles rose and a silent snarl lifted her lips. There was another predator in the woods, and the wolf knew when it was out matched.
Giving one more look at the trial the rabbit disappeared down, Sister Wolf gave Danika the reins, trusting her human sister to get them home safely while she focused her instincts on their surroundeds.

Danika crept under the brush, slinking through the shadows with her ears up, alert. Danika tasted the air, deciding that any creature that made Sister Wolf raise her hackles in nervousness was something worth looking in to.
