I will be doing the read 1200 pages for this week. I am hoping to finish some books that I have started. I will see if I am able to get any new ones read during this time.
I'm am reading The Hobbit for the Been on TBR for 2+ years challenge and These Broken Stars for the because of the cover challenge. I have another ReadAThon starting on the 24th too so after those two books and on the 24th I will be reading books that fit that ReadAThons challenges.
Can't wait for a full 2 weeks of ReadAThons. 😁
I'm doing the "someone else's favourite book" challenge. With The secret diary of Adrian Mole and Six of Crows. I may finish off some others if I have the time

I totally forgot this started! Oops hahahaI'm going to read After the Funeral by Agatha Christie. This one crosses off the "A book you picked because of the cover" challenge, and it's also the latest Poirot book in the series I have yet to read, so I'm looking forward to seeing how Christie's style changed over the years.
I'm going away for a wedding so not sure what I'm taking with me, probably going to continue on with a series either GoT or Harry Potter. Not much downtime until the 23rd
Hi everyone! I'm joining his readathon for the first time. I'm going to be finishing of a series. Currently reading Our Dark Duet by V.E. Schwab and will be focusing on that. :)
Hello everyone :) I'm new to this readathon!I'll be reading 1200 pages because I have books that I have started but haven't finished.
The Final Empire - Brandon Sanderson
The Last Wish - Andrzej Sapkowski
One Fell Sweep - Ilona Andrews
Wicked Embers - Keri Arthur
Alanna: The First Adventure - Tamora Pierce
... among others lol
I'm planning on reading the Warrior Heir, by Cinda Williams Chima, because it's the first book in a series, and I bought it 2+ years ago because of the cover (trying to catch up on challenges lol). I'm also finishing Lament, by Maggie Stiefvater, and I want to reread Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare so I can get up to 1200 pages. I love Lament so far, I loved Lady Midnight, and I'm really intrigued by The Warrior Heir, so this should be fun!
It's nearly the end of day one for me in Aus. And I have finished The Hobbit and am about to start The Life Siphon. Very happy with how I'm going so far!
I think i'm going to do read a nonfiction book challenge i haven't read one ever so this is an oppurtunity i guess and 1200 page one since i started and haven't finished so many books lately one of them is the second book of mistborn triolgy, that's a pretty long book.
I'm also trying to achieve the "Read 1200 pages"-challenge this week! I'm going to try and read the entirety of the Chronicles of Narnia, per someone's recommendation in another thread. Technically, I only have to read the first six in order to reach 1200 pages, but feels a bit stupid for me to not read the last book as well then :D I'm also participating in the Summer Biannual Bibliothon, which overlaps with this readathon for three of the days (starts on the 23rd), so I'm including one of the Narnia-books there as well :)
I'm going to be doing the challenge "finish a series" and for this I'm reading Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins. This has sat on my shelf for years and I think it's about time I finally wrap up this series.
a book that is written by more then one author. The iron trial which i am reading now, plus hoping to finish the second book in this triogly as well and rea d1,200 pages this week.
So far my total towards the 1200 page challenge is coming in at 465 and counting but I'm unsure how much more I will read today.
I'm ecstatic to be joining this read-a-thon! I will be reading a manga called Doubt by Yoshi Tonogai.
Hallo readers! This is the first group I've ever joined on goodreads and my first month tackling this readathon and I'm very excited. I haven't been able to participate in the twitter sprints yet, but I'm hoping that'll change tomorrow. I'm going to try my hand at two challenges this month. 1) a book you picked up because of the cover: A Fever of the Blood by Oscar de Muriel
2) A book that has to do with traveling: Pirate Latitudes by Michael Chrichton & Journey to the Center of the Earth by Jules Verne.
A bit ambitious, I know!
Just got the internet there. I'm nearly finished Six of crows and finished the secret diary of Adrian Mole yesterday. Page count: 393
I just finished Mockingjay and now I'm going to start Night's Surrender by Amanda Ashley for the first book on my shelf that I haven't read challenge.
Hey everybody! I finished The Last Wish by Andrzej Sapkowski, read a little bit of The Final Empire and started Beautiful Chaos by Robert M. Drake... happy reading guys :)
I just finished The Life Siphon by Kathryn Summerlot! I also started listening to the audiobook of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
I'm just writing a review for The Life Siphon and listening to some Blue Lily, Lily Blue at the same time! 😊
Joining this readathon halfway through the year. Going to do the cover challenge and short story challenge with The Lovecraft Compendium, a collection of Cuthulu related short stories by HP Lovecraft. Also going to try and read Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman on audiobook and A Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue for a chill read throughout the week. I've got a very busy 2-3 weeks ahead of me with final projects and exams but hope I'll pull through with some reading done!Just finished the short story The Dunwich Horror this morning so officially 1 challenge down!
I joined the readathon just this month and I'm trying to squeeze the challenges I wasn't able to do in between the remaining weeks so for this week I think I'm gonna read Tash Hearts Tolstoy as the book I picked because of the cover (gorgeous cover indeed) and Openly Straight as the book that starts a series.good luck to everyone!
So far I have finished The Hobbit, The Life Siphon by Kathryn Sommerlot and the audiobook of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. I also finished off the Audioobooks of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (63 pages) & Blue Lily, Lily Blue (171 pages)
I am now starting Finding Wonders by Jeannine Atkins
I've made such little progress on Pirate Latitudes, though I've fared better with Journey to the Center of the Earth. So hopefully I'll get that one down for reading a book about traveling. Funny enough, Journey to the Center of the Earth was suppose to be the backup for that challenge, hah.
Finished when breath becomes air for the nonfiction book challenge and going to read a darker shade of magic for the first book on my shelf that i haven't read yet. Hoping to catch up, since i just found out about this readathon
Just finished Thirteen Reasons Why . This book has 352 pages.I am now at 724 pages read towards my 1200 pages.
I read More Happy Than Not today and now I have started The Great Gatsby! About half way through and I need to go to sleep!
yesterday I read two books. Anthem has 105 pages and The Colossus and Other Poems has 84 pages. This leaves me still having to read 287 pages by the end of the day. I will be finishing Two for the Dough today and that will give me 295 pages.
I was able to finish my challenge of reading 1200 pages this week., with 8 pages extra. I wasn't sure if I would be able to accomplish this with a busy. Can't wait forc the next one
