The idea:
Their father fell victim to a hunter, but the mother is trying to raise her children to be as human as possible, and being born werewolves and purebloods, they can survive on eating animal meat rather than human. The youngest daughter is dumped by her boyfriend of two-four years and in her rage she kills him, which sparks an investigation, drawing in hunters.
