Same! Never knew that until I added it. Afraid to read it though. Some books are better left as stand-alones.

Agreed.

I only thought there may be one book since I only may have seen the movie and the movie though it possibly sells the book's plot a little not as close to the book as some of us would like it to, it was a fabulous movie. If people end up liking the Notebook a lot then I recommend watching Dear John. As books go, I do agree that some are better left as stand-alones, especially the notebook.
