10.7 - Mad For Plaid

March is Mad for Plaid month. Plaid is a fabric woven with a crossed horizontal and vertical pattern in multiple colors. For this task it includes tartans, argyle, madras, gingham and checked patterns. Read a book with something plaid on the cover.

Would you call the yellowish jacket plaid? It looks like it has white vertical stripes and blue horizontal stripes, but I don't know if that qualifies it as a plaid.

I know it's not quite plaid, but you included checked patterns so I figured better safe than sorry :)

Will this work? The dog's scarf is clearly meant to be plaid. I just don't know if you can see enough of it.
