I don't know if anyone else feels like this, but pregnancy, particularly in books, fan fic, ect is one of my squicks. I see a lot of people talking about how they want Feyre to realize she' pregnant at the Spring Court, or for Aelin to figure it out in the coffin. It makes me really uncomfortable, but I'd also love to hear what others have to say.
@ Grace- It's an interesting concept. To be honest, I'm a little on the fence about it. One part of me is like, "Yes! Let Feyre be pregnant (not so much Aelin)" and there's another part of me that hopes it doesn't happen. One, because Feyre is about to enter into a huge war with Hybern, and while it could be a decent plot twist, I think it'd be too much at this point in time.
Aelin, on the other hand! The next book will be the last one in the TOG series. I think it's a higher possibility. I think, at the very least, it may be part of an epilogue.

@ Dixie- There's a couple of reasons I don't think Feyre would be pregrant is because she has expressly said she wants to wait to have children. She's spent so much of her life taking care of others and fighting against forces trying to hurt her that I think making her pregnant in the final book would go directly against what she wants. Honestly, it would also be so dramatic and tropey I think. I do agree that Aelin has a greater possibility, but I imagine it would be in an epilogue, or we would see Rowan and Aelin with a child.
There just seems to be so much over dramatization and borderline obsessiveness with the idea in posts I've seen on tumblr.
I know what you mean. I've been seeing so many posts about either one (or both) of them being pregnant because of the references in the books. Is ACOWAR the last in the ACOTAR series? I thought there was still a couple of books left in the series? I know the next TOG release will be the last one.
I always thought the references to pregnancy and birth control were for world building purposes. I liked that Sarah included that because a lot of author's usually don't. The only other time I've encountered a fantasy author referencing birth control was Patrick Rothfuss in The Wise Man's Fear. That was also for world building purposes.
