Anna Penwick (annapenwick) | 166 comments I'm going to try to finish Karina Halle's EIT series. They are really scary for me so I've been putting them off. I've read 1-4 and I own the rest of the series.

Fabi- for the list please add me On Demon Wings by Karina Halle

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

message 7: by Ela (new)

Ela | 4291 comments I bet Fabi likes THAT title?

Hmm. This could be interesting for me. I love Marmies. I'm not opposed to horror. A book I've been afraid to read is actually the book I have planned to read for whichever month is the "everyone has read it but me" month. I am really gonna have to think on this. I have two kindles, so I can't even link you guys to my list.

message 9: by Jan (new)

Jan (jan130) Jan Thoughtless by S.C. Stephens. I'm a bit scared........ You know this month's theme is far from my fav :O

Leslie | 2430 comments My March pick is Its All Relative by S.C. Stephens

message 11: by Jan (new)

Jan (jan130) Oooh Leslie. We can be *almost* book buddies! Same author, anyway ;)

message 12: by Leslie (new)

Leslie | 2430 comments Lol Jan!!!

Thoughtless is one of my all time fave series. I'm not sure how im going to like It's All Relative by S.C. Stephens

message 13: by Jan (new)

Jan (jan130) Well, we'll soon see.....

Ela | 4291 comments Leslie wrote: "My March pick is Its All Relative by S.C. Stephens"

I read that book when she still had most of her books free on some site I can't remember and I honestly think I didn't give it a fair shot...so I'm curious what you'll think.

message 15: by Leslie (new)

Leslie | 2430 comments Ela, honestly I feel like nothing can compare to Thoughtless so I am not expecting much. But you arent a huge Thoughtless fan right? (I remember you hate Kiera) So maybe you'll like this better. Anyway, I will post my reaction.

AND RELATIVE CANT COMPARE, NOT EVEN CLOSE

message 17: by Jan (new)

Lisa Aiello (lisaaiello) | 2460 comments I'm going with....The Silent Corner by Dean Koontz. I got an ARC of it and it'll kill two birds with one creepy stone!

message 21: by Jan (new)

Jan (jan130) Oooh. Dean Koontz. Sounds sca-eee.

message 22: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) I know y'all will be shocked to know that I have ZERO idea about what book I'm reading yet. I do know that there are many, many Marmy books I haven't read. Badger is one of them.

message 23: by Robin (new)

I'd BR with you, but apparently I suck at that!

message 24: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) Why do you say that, Robin???

message 25: by Robin (new)

Robin Hill (robinhill) | 1528 comments R. wrote: "Why do you say that, Robin???"

Because I can never start on time and I get pulled in other directions. I did it to Leslie and bev. I'm planning on reading Badger for my March read so we can try if you want, but I HAVE got to read something 1st person/present next (helps the writing mojo) then, the final draft of The Butterfly Project, then T&D book 2 with Leslie, THEN Badger. Whew! I don't think March will be long enough!

message 26: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) Later is better for me too. Let me lock it in that that's the one for me--need to check my Marmy shelf--and then I'll let you know for sure.

message 27: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) Tasha wrote: "Is The Mason List a marmy? I can't remember, but I feel like I've been afraid to read it bc I thought it was."

Tasha--it's not on Maryse's list. I haphazardly scribbled down the ones I needed to read when Maryse published the list and I made a GR shelf, but I've never finished putting them all on it, so I looked it up again. For anyone who needs it, here's the link:

message 28: by Leslie (new)

Leslie | 2430 comments Tasha, if you have been afraid to read it,it qualifies!!! :)

message 29: by Ela (new)

Ela | 4291 comments Did everyone read God Shaped Hole? Anybody want to join me? I'm scared!

message 30: by Robin (new)

Robin Hill (robinhill) | 1528 comments Have fun!

message 31: by Ela (new)

Ela | 4291 comments Who's supposed to have fun??????

message 32: by Robin (new)

Robin Hill (robinhill) | 1528 comments You with GSH! :D

message 33: by Ela (new)

Ela | 4291 comments Oh Geez! YOU ARE SUCH FUN

message 34: by Leslie (new)

Leslie | 2430 comments Sorry Ela, I am Ms. No Fun. God Shaped Hole is type of book I stay far away from.

message 35: by Ela (new)

Ela | 4291 comments OH COME ON LESLIE! I HEAR IT'S A WONDERFUL BOOK

message 36: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) I'll read it with you, Ela! Have you started it yet?

I was going to start R.K. Lilley's 'Love is War' series, but I can read GSH first.

message 37: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) But I don't know why you're scared. I read the blurb a long, long time ago and don't remember anything about it, so I'm going in blind.

message 38: by Robin (new)

Robin Hill (robinhill) | 1528 comments You guys will love it! It's a super cute romcom!

message 39: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) Cute? Ugh, I hope it's not too cute--I usually don't care for cute (or sweet)... But with a romantic comedy, I guess it's ok.

message 40: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) Who was going to read Jack and Jill besides me? Ela and Lisa A.?? You know we said 'first of the year' and it's already almost March! Geesh, where does the time go??

message 41: by Robin (new)

Robin Hill (robinhill) | 1528 comments R. I was kidding ;)

message 42: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) Oh, duh! See, I really did completely forget what it's about! lol

message 43: by Robin (new)

Robin Hill (robinhill) | 1528 comments It'll be more *fun* that way! I love going blind!

message 44: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) Ela--I just saw where you posted about GSH on Maryse's blog. I didn't realize GSH would be your March challenge book, so does that mean we won't start until 3/1??

Robin--when are we supposed to be reading Badger?? Right on 3/1 or what? I know you mentioned other stuff you had to do, but I can't remember.

I want to read both--I just have to get my time scheduled.

message 45: by Robin (new)

Robin Hill (robinhill) | 1528 comments Makes no difference to me R. We can read it when you're free.

I already read the first 2 books in the Jack and Jill series so I can join when you guys get to 3 and 4, which I believe are not a part of the main 2-book story????

I got the wrong series....I read the entire Jack & Jill and now I'm wondering what that other series I was thinking about is....

message 50: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) Ela--I've still got to finish my Feb. challenge book, so why don't we start on 3/1 (aren't we supposed to read our challenge books within the month they're for? I'm really not sure.) I was going to read this R.K. Lilley book and then finish my PnR book, but I'll go ahead and get my PnR finished, and then I'll be open for GSH and then Badger after that. I can read the R.K. Lilley book whenever.

I'm hoping that if I get all these buddy reads set up that I'll FINALLY get my call from the hospital! lol
