I always felt (and still feel) that the stories are the same...just the name keeps on changing...:|

by Lynne Graham. A recommended read for those who like second chance romances and a faithful hero.

Ruchi wrote: "I don't like these books at all..."These days Harlequin/Mills and Boon owns so much of the market, you'd be surprised. I'm not a fan of the Billionaire/Sheikh/Tycooon books, but a lot of very popular authors write for them and you wouldn't even know.
There're a lot of negative stereotypes attached to the brand, but they're very different now from even five years ago.
Some big Harlequin authors include Gena Showalter , Robyn Carr , Julia London , Susan Mallery ...
And some of the best historical romances I've ever read have been Harlequin books - much better and more imaginative than the books being put out by big publishers like Avon and Zebra.
I know a lot of the books follow a formula, but there are some great authors around these days, like Sarah Mayberry and newcomer Stefanie London .
Thank you Ipshita for starting a conversation about these books. I don't like the modern ones much but the old ones are gems.
I like the Historical Romances under Harlequin. They satisfy my hunger for romances after every book from a different genre. :PI hate the new ones though! :|
Omg I love these books...have so many downloaded on kindle...they're fun to read...I guess each to his own...:)
Some of the Harlequin books that I have read in the recent months are My all time favorite : Nora Roberts : All her old books esp. Macgregor Series
My favorite : Kristan Higgins :
Susan Wiggs :
Australian contemporary : Sarah Mayberry :
Debbie Macomber :
Contemporary : Susan Mallery :
With Children : Karen Templeton :
Medical : Robin Gianna :
Contemporary with some spice : Victoria Dahl :
These books are worth a try. I haven't read any historical romances of Harlequin. But will give it a try in future
