So far this book seems a bit odd. There was a divorce that has happened between Mariah and Colin. Faith, their daughter, is still living with her mom. Mariah's mother moves in to help as Mariah is still dealing with the divorce. Once Colin moves out, Faith starts seeing this person she calls guard. I am guessing this is like her guarding angel. Now her mom is trying to find out what is causing Faith to be having this guard person.
