I think he should, although I will say kindly he is not really doing it to separate the U.S. and Mexico, he is doing it to simply keep illegal immigrants from crossing the border. Therefore they have to come here (The wonderful United States of America) legally.... So Yes he should and will build the wall....(sorry if this is taken the wrong way. I am simply trying to help people see why I chose why I did...)
I think we shouldn't have a wall. Walls just lead to further division and in history, some not-so-good things. *cough cough* Berlin.
America is about letting people in, and something does need to be done, but a wall isn't it.

Definitely not! First off things like this never end well. America is the land of the free not a racist country. & if you weren't privileged to have been born in America then you want to say "too bad so sad, God hates you." That's not fair! Immigrants who come to America illegal or not spend years working hard and learning the American way of life. Most immigrants end up being more American than American's! I go to my school and businesses and 90% of the time that don't know the national anthem or who their senators are or who even their mayor is. Everyone should be equal and given a chance to better themselves and their families. It takes nearly 30 years to become an American citizen legally, that's completely messed up.
So sick of people being jerks and always trying to hurt others because they think they are better than everyone else.

Emily,The Berlin wall was more of a wall to keep people in Communism vs. immigration.
Robin,
No matter your nationality God loves you for who you are, and another thing is that law and rule should be be followed, because without that there is murder and chaos happen. That is why they are coming over the border from there own countries.

I'm aware of the reasons behind the Berlin Wall, and the reason for it doesn't matter, what matters is that division like that does not end well.
Also, Robin was saying that is what some Americans act like, not that it's true. Also, on that topic, doesn't the Bible itself say that you should treat immigrants fairly, because, in the case of the people being addressed, they immigrated to Egypt? Here - Leviticus 19:33-34 - “When a stranger sojourns with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. You shall treat the stranger who sojourns with you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt."

That is right. You are supposed to treat them as a neighbor, I am not saying that you should treat them badly. I was trying to say that God gave us law and order, and that what our leaders before us put down we should follow. I like that there are people wanting to come in, but just a question.... why can't they do it legally?

Exactly, something needs to be done, but a wall will end it entirely, and Mexico isn't always the best place, and many would rather come to America, and stopping them from coming to a better country isn't treating them as God would want.

Well... Masi... If you think about it just because one insident like 9/11 does not mean they are all like that. I am half Mexican and that does not mean I am going to hurt you... please do not take offence to this comment.

I think what you're forgetting that America is literally the Melting Pot of people from around the world - I'm Irish, my grandma was an immigrant, my friend is Hungarian, Russian, and Polish - their grandparents were immigrants, my other friend is Lebanese and Italian, my other is Phillipino, one of them is Argentinian, one is Ukrainian. I have a Chinese friend and an Indian friend, too. I have a Canadian friend and a friend who was born in Honduras. Everything America is is immigrants from all over the globe - very few of us are actually Native Americans. Immigrants does not equate to people who want to harm us - at least for the United States, immigrants mean people who are coming for a better life and better opportunities. I agree, some people come to the United States with the intent of harming us, but that is a VERY VERY small amount, and we can't punish everyone just because of a few people - like in school, we always get upset if we're all punished for something a single person did.

I don't think we should, what you're saying is treating them badly, and I'm not sure if that's what you mean or I'm misreading what you said, but we should be more careful of who is let in, not be more hard on immigrants.
