Veena Nagpal | 4 comments Are video trailers effective marketing tools for marketing fiction.

I have no idea!

I've made four teaser trailers and one book trailer for my book RADIUS 200. They can be viewed on my Goodreads page.

Any suggestions/feedback regarding where and how I should project them would be more than welcome

D20 | 162 comments I seldom watch them, at least for long. Gripping, dynamic book trailers are the exception. Most tell you the whole story with insipid music in the background and get boring fast. Just my opinion, not having seen your trailers which might be great.

John Matsui (johnmatsui) | 3 comments Like anything else, when they were a novelty, they got some attention. Now they have to be spectacular enough on their own to earn viral eyeballs.

Tobias Langhoff (tobiasvl) | 12 comments My favorite is the one for Inherent Vice, because it features the voice of the reclusive Thomas Pynchon himself. Apart from that there's nothing special about it, hehe.

Nancy Foster Why do the Radius 200 teaser trailers have a sound that is reminiscent of a bathroom?

message 7: by Veena (new)

Veena Nagpal | 4 comments It's actually the sound of a waterfall!

And Nancy I'd really love to bathe in a bathroom that sounds like a waterfall...
