Book Worms discussion

I enjoyed the Musketeer movies done in the 70's, but I've yet to see any version of The Count of Monte Cristo that even comes close to the book, let alone what Hollywood has done with The Man in the Iron Mask. The whole twist of the twin Kings is a very very tiny part of the entire book.

I think the TV series that one of the French networks did a while ago with Gerard Depardieu came closest of the ones I've seen, of The Count of Monte Cristo.

I haven't seen that one. I recall enjoying the one with Richard Chamberlain years ago but it's so long I can't say how close it is to the book.

I don't know that I've ever seen that one. Interesting casting.
