I really didn't figure out it was Breezy, but I had my suspicions. I definitely though Swen was involved. Brezzy was just to hovering over Cori and Max didn't trust her from the beginning. Swen was pretty obvious as the boy toy.
Yes. I think I read a Karen Rose book with a similar villain and that gave me a heads up (it could have been vice versa)
I haven't read many books where the best friend turns out to be the baddie, but I really didn't think that Brezzy was in love with her husband. When she revealed that she had found the condoms on the boat, I thought that Cori's husband and Brezzy were having an affair.
We could have been reading this together, Anita. I had the same thoughts you did, and I cannot remember another book where the best friend was such a villain.
