Elizabeth looked at Luna’s plate and scowled. “Luna. When I took you out to eat. I didn’t mean go get every dessert of the table.” Elizabeth plunged her fork into the roast beef and stuffed it in her mouth.
Elizabeth looked at Luna’s plate and scowled. “I took you out to eat because I thought you would actually eat real food. Not take every dessert of the table.” She stuffed roll covered in butter into her mouth.
Elizabeth rolled her eyes. “Here try this.” Elizabeth passed a bowl of soup to Luna. “It’s just chicken noodle.”
Elizabeth hissed. “Luna stop! Use a spoon good gracious. Here.” She handed the spoon to Luna and watched her confused face. “Taste it. You will like it I promise. You have to eat healthy here or we will both be the chubby kids.”
Elizabeth giggled. “Well yea. It’s chicken noodle soup. Try some of this.” She laid a piece of roast beef and a roll onto her plate full of sweets half eaten.
Elizabeth rolled her eyes. “I give up. She snatched the cupcake from Luna’s hand and stuffed it into her mouth.” Not bad... for a cupcake she said smiling.
Elizabeth scowled at Luna’s bad behavior. Before Elizabeth had become a pirate, she was a lady. But now she was a pirate. “LUNA... Sit. Down. Before I rip out the chicken noodle soup in your stomach.” Her voice rang with cold hard menace. It would have made her enemies cower in her presence.
Elizabeth snarled. “Don’t make me...” She could help herself as she began to laugh. It was nice not to feared for once. Different but nice.
Once Sparrow had jumped out the window she noticed a figure appearing and pulled Mayavin along the way with her. The window slammed shut as Pocahontas arrived and luckily by then they were already covered by the leaves of the tree. Sliding down, she made a protected barrier between the bark and wood getting chipped off. "Now that, that was fun." One they arrived she could smell the bacon cooking and the frosting on the cake. "Ms. Pots! Chip, hey! I'll have my usual."
Chip, a small little boy ran out to greet Sparrow and Ms Pots smiled gratefully at her, then raised an eyebrow. "What are you doing out of class young lady? You do know that the bell has rung?" Shrugging she motioned towards Mayavin. "I wanted to show Vinnie around, he's new." Ms. Post immediately brightened, "Well welcome lets get you a table so you can order." Smiling at Chip she took out a toy she'd swiped from someone who really didn't need it and whispered "Don't tell your mom." Nodding he ran off gettjng the menus.

Vinnie hit the ground with a thud as Sparrow pulled him with her through the window. "Ouch" he said, though a smirk played on his face. Walking toward the cafeteria, he was greeted with the same smell of bacon and cake frosting. Mayavin watched how Sparrow interacted with Chip and Ms. Pots. His hands stuffed in his pockets as he looked around the place. When Sparrow mentioned that he was new, he gave a small wave then followed her to their table. He chuckled a bit when she gave Chip the toy. "Cute kid" he remarked approvingly. "So what's good here? I mean, besides the smells?"
"Yeah he is, only nine." Noticing there were still a few leaves in her hair she pulled them out along with a few sticks. "I'm never doing that ever again." Sparrow chuckled before passing him the menu. "Well, I'm getting my usual. Street Tacos with an Arnold Palmer. They pretty much make anything here. The entire staff knows me as if I live here. Which I practically do. Though the banana pancakes are delicious, and so is the chiken." Her mouth was basically water as the named all of the foods. "So what have you decided o- Hey!" Her expression immediately darkened. A tall blonde buff man walked in and had spotted Sparrow. "Hey. Vinnie, meet my brother... Nicky." He grunted and rolled his eyes. "You know only our mother can call me that, oh wait she isn't our mother is she." Sparrow didn't respond. "So, who's your boyfriend again?" That time she did "He's not my boyfriend."
Mayavin pulled some leaves out of his hair as well, he hadn't noticed how disheveled he or Sparrow looked. "Oh come come on, you wouldn't do that again? It ws kinda fun," the book looked through the countless options on the menu, trying to pick one thing. "I'm really feeling sea food right now but then again that chicken you mentioned does seem pretty-" he was cut off when he noticed her dark expression and turned to see the buff blond. The first word that came mind he saw the guy was ew. This Nicky guy seemed like an arrogant try hard, and it honestly made Vinnie feel sick to his stomach the way he spoke to Sparrow. The then grinned, though this grin was so obviously insincere and laced with annoyance. "Wow Sparrow, how rude! You told me about one of your jerk off brothers, but you never told me about this one? Perhaps he'd like to join us for some food?" He glanced over toward the girl, acting falsely disappointed. Then put out his hand to Nicky as if to shake and introduced himself "Mayavin Hook, a pleasure to make your acquaintance, and no I'm not your sisters boyfriend but I'm sure any guy in their right mind would like to be," Oh yes, the sarcasm and shade was strong with this one.
((Thst last sentence was the best thing I've ever read))
"It's not Nicky, it's Falcon. Sparrow here just finds it funny to call me that. News flash, it's not." As Mayavin put out his hand and Nickolas just looked at it with disgust. "Son of Captain Hood perhaps? Whats the worst you're gonna do, steal something?" Sparrow was getting reak sick of him, but she kept quiet. As Mayavin said 'any guy in his right mind would like to be' she gave a little smile, though it was the biggest she could muster in Nickolas presence. Though Falcon just scoffed. "Yeah, right. Look Bel-" This time he was cut short to getting knocked onto the floor and one of the arrows from the quiver on his back and a bow to his throat. "Only the people I can stand being around can call me that. You are not one of them." In truth he deceased mother called her that, and if this bastard ever though making fun of her mother was okay? He'd be dead wrong. Or just dead.

((Lol thxs 😂 I'm trying))"Oof tough crowd, my bad then, I thought for a second there were two of you. Thank the heavens there's not" he withdrew his hand slowly and then continued in a kind of darker, more threatening tone "But don't worry, I'm sure there are worse things than stealing I could do to you..." Vinnie was surprised when Sparrow tackled Falcon. He propped his head up on his arm looking down at the oaf as if he only had mild interest. "Y'know, you remind me of an old sea dog, all bark, uglier and worse smelling than a whales rump, and overall just unimpressive." The Vinnie stood up and knelt near Sparrow, whispering "He's not worth your time, just let him go," he wondered what Falcon was about to call her that got her so upset, but he knew that she shouldn't let him bother her. She was too good for that. 'Its none of your business, why do you care?' a little voice in his head said, but he suppressed it feeling differently now.
The entire restaurant seem to go silent, a few whispers here and there until Mrs. Pots came out. "To go dearie?" Sparrow nodded still aiming the arrow at his throat, until Vinnie whispered in her ear. Growling she shot the arrow right by his thriat but not on it. Taking the quiver of arrows and bows she glared at him. "You don't deserve these." After taking her tacos she cleared her throat loudly and in an obvious manner and soon everyone went back to eating. "Thank him, he just saved your life." Sparrow snarled as Falcon scoffed a little shaken but hiding it. "Like you'd actually-" another arrow whizzed past his head grazing his ear. "Try me."
Mayavin looked around as the Café went quiet, then spoke up "Nothin to see here folks, go on about your meals..." of course that didn't break up the silence. He noticed he hadn't ordered, but really didn't care. He was ready to go if Sparrow was, this Falcon guy had ruined his appetite. Seeing the blond trying to hide how shaken he was really comedic, and Vinnie didn't try to stifle his laugh. The son of Hook was quite impressed with the gall that Sparrow had to challenge her mean brother. He was glad she didn't shy from his bluffs. "I'm ready to leave when you are," Mayavin told the girl, shrugging his hands in his pockets. He glanced over to Falcon who still caught Vinnie as a pathetic wreck, and made little kissy faces at him, following with a wicked kind of smile.
Turning to look at Falcon she socked him in the gut, then turned around and walked out of the shop. "Sorry you had to see that. I won't say I'm usually not that violent because I am, but it just depends on who I'm around and who is on the other end of this arrow." Taking out a taco, she offered him one and set the rest down. She gazed in awe of how beautiful and well-crafted this singular bow was. Of course Falcon was Robin's favorite, he got all the good stuff. "You, are pretty cool Mayavin." That was the first time she'd used his name, Sparrow enjoyed the way it rolled off of her tounge.
((Sorry I was gone sooo long))Following after Sparrow, Mayavin called back to Falcon "It was horrible meeting you, hope we do this again!" After they were out and the girl started apologizing, he shook his head. "No, don't be sorry, you did what you had to do. Besides, I like a girl who can fight..." Taking the taco she offered him, he nodded gratefully and took a bite. Glancing over at her when she said he was pretty cool, Vinnie smirked and replied "What can I say, that's just me, a pretty cool guy... you're pretty cool too Sparrow." He liked using her name, it made him feel good the way he could just say it. And there was something that was just right about her using his, like the fitting of a glove. Then Vinnie went quiet, thinking about the events that had just happened. 'Don't ask, there's no need to be nosy!' But he never listened to the little voice in his head. "Sparrow... what was he going to call you in there that got you so upset?" He turned to look at her, showing that he was actually curious and attentive as compared to all the other times with other people that he wasnt.
As he said he liked girls who could fight, her brain immediately went to the logical side of things. "I mean, kind of hard not to right? I was basically raised by a group of bandits. I could ride before I could walk." Though she smiled when he called her 'pretty cool' "I'd call you pretty cool, but I don't want to be redundant, so act like it's implied." Continuing to eat her taco, she ran her fingers over the redwood bow an arrow. It felt as if it was the tree. Still with it's roots, sitting in the ground, growing leaves. When he asked her name though her expression turned a bit darker. "I want to trust you, but can I truly? As you can tell not many people in my life are indeed trustworthy." In all honesty, she did want to tell him. He seemed a little like her, broken, tired, angry, though even with all of that weight on his shoulders he still found a way to be sarcastic as hell.
Seeing how dark her expression got once again it made him think hard. That question she asked him, about him being trustworthy... well it was certainly a solid question that's for sure. But could he give her a straight answer? Throughout his life, Mayavin had never felt compelled to be attached to others. He found it was a dangerous game choosing who to care for and who to throw to the roaring sea. So, he usually just cast everyone aside, finding it easier to not be sympathetic. However he found Sparrow different somehow. He felt like he understood her and that she could understand him better than most others. While he could feel that cynical part of him hollering how cliché and risky it was, for once he wanted to trust someone, and he wanted them to trust him. Then his voice was low and serious, not sarcastic or crude in the slightest "You're not obligated to trust me, and to be honest I don't know if you should... but if you're different the way I think you might be, if you're what I think you are then... I'm going to be the most loyal I can. It's kinda scary for me, actually but, I'm going to try. I get it if that a not reassuring to you, it's not reassuring to me either."
"Well, as I've subtly mentioned before I don't look like my father nor his wife. I am an affair child, and when I was born it was obvious that I was. When I was brough home from the hospital I didn't look like Nickolas or my other brother Matt, I wasn't white. Though my mother was aloud to live with us and she did for the most part, she promised one day we'd leave and go to a magical place far away from there. Well, my mother didn't call me Sparrow. That was my father's name for me, said while I live under that roof he'd call me whatever he wanted. Though the name my mother gave me? Is Bellona, though now I just go by Sparrow. My mother while very kind was too trusting and curious, she got her shadow torn from her body. I have some history with Peter Pan as I said, but you merely asked for my name. Thats all you get." Wiping a few tears that had slipped out, Sparrow couldn't believe she'd actuslly told him, they'd only just met a few hours ago. Though being around Mayavin felt as if no matter what she said he'd get it. So she trusted him for now, and Sparrow hoped he'd trust her as well.
Bellona. Like the Roman goddess of war, he could see why her mother would give her that name. Mayavin listened intently, feeling the pain that she must have felt going through a childhood like that. A childhood where you know that others feel you do not belong, where you are constantly belittled and then the one person you love is taken away from you. As if by instinct, the boys hand moved and touched hers as he spoke "...Thank you for telling me... I understand how hard things must have been for you... how hard they still are. I promise I won't take this in vain" her brief mention of what Peter Pan had done to her mother reminded him of his deep hatred for the immortal boy. Vinnie shook his head, thinking that maybe the best thing now was to leave the subject to rest. "Well. Enough depressing stuff for now, yeah? Let's go do something fun." He then thought a little longer and that daring side of him came out again, thinking maybe a little mischief was just what Sparrow needed."...maybe, something we're not supposed to do" he hinted while bumping her shoulder with his.
While they were still sitting down, Sparrow slowly and subconsciously slipped her fingers into Mayavin's. "Hey, I did my part. All I can do is pray I can trust you with this information. But, it actually felt really good to let it out isntead of just keeping it inside." Sparrow was now fully aware that they were holding hands, but she hoped Mayavin didn't mind. He was so very warm, and well, to her welcoming. Like she said in the beginning, he was very introverted and could be very cynical to people, but it looked as if Sparrowhad cracjed the code, then again rhey were just friends. Right? "Right, no more depressing stuff." Brushing her wild curly hair out of her eyes, Sparrow thought for a moment. "Maybe... something like shrinking all of the jerseys on the football team? Sounds like their ego could use the same treatment but for now but their clothing. How bout it?"
