The idea of this game is to have the last word of each line of the poem changed slightly each time. This will be done by changing one letter of the last word of the previous line.

For example, one person might write
The sun has fallen, the moon is full
and the next person might post
I feel the cold wind and I start to fall

I'll start:
Poems flame in the depths of my mind

And with each line, the deeper I mine

I can pretend that everything's fine

just like sitting under a maple pine

Pretending the world isn't a crumpled pile

Cold and heartless as smooth tile

Spinning with a never-ending tilt

like it will never end till

It's had its soulless fill

just like a not so good pill

I feel its endless pull

turning like and endless mill

and each step I take feels like a mile

Still we're all walking single file

always tryna run the extra mile

each of us with a plastic smile

Yet still we fall at every mile

cringe at the gaze of every male

bent by the wind of every little gale

crushed by demand of every little sale

and this pain is turning my soul stale

I don't even have the strength to tell the tale

and sometimes I don't even have the strength to talk

I don't have the strength to want to walk

I don't have the strength to break through this wall

or run a marathon in a mall.

How is it that I always seem to feel so small?

how do they find me? Is it self-hate they smell?

How can I crawl further into my shell?

Im being forced to do it, as if I shall.

I won't parade myself down your judgement hall

Why does your opinion matter to me at all?

But you people just stand, gloating at my fall

Now you won't even glance my way even if I yell

How is the fact that I'm hurting such a hard sell?

I hide and cower, but please don't tell

I'm just running down an endless hall

Seconds away from my amazing fall

((We should probably end this poem soon))

And maybe then I can stop trying to stand so tall

This posturing is taking its toll

((hehe well you could but then it'd be a different competition xP))

How this can only end half well

I hate being the one with this pathetic tale to tell

And the devil will take them with him back to hell

And I don't want to be one of seventeen you held

Someone to cling to when I grow old

Someone to hug me when the night iscold

Someone to teach me how to be bold

But this forever-searching is taking its toll
