Urban Fantasy discussion

I am a huge fan of the Hollows series and have read them all. I was so excited to get The Turn and I'm about half way through it. I don't think it's a spoiler (since it is obvious from the first few pages of the book) to say that I'm having a really hard time dealing with what a slime ball Trent is. I almost don't want to read what is coming up next. Anyone else feel that way? It's making it hard to enjoy the book as much as I'd like. ☹

I totally know what you are talking about it made me feel a bit more sympathetic for Trent, due to one of his parents. I found that after I finished this one I wanted to read the Hallows series again to see how Kal and Trisk were talked about.
