How did everyone like Glitter and Glue last month? leave your comments here. I really loved it a lot and I thought that it was really relatable. Kelly's mom and dad reminded me SO MUCH of the dynamic that we had in my own house growing up. My mom was always very practical and not very touchy feely, but her voice of reason did become the voice I now hear in my head as I am raising my children. I did wonder as I was reading, though, if the story would be as relatable to people who did not have as similar as a background as I do to Kelly. (Like her, I'm also a white woman who was brought up in a middle class two parent household in the suburbs.That's kind of a specific audience.) Do you think the lessons in this book were universal?
