Hey everyone! Have you started the book? What are your thoughts so far? What version do you have?

I haven't started it yet but mine is an old Barnes and Noble classics edition. It's 444 pages.

Deb | 5 comments Anybody ready to start discussing our book? Or are we waiting until more people are finished? I will say that I am enjoying this book more the second time around, first time I picked it up was for school, so I don't think I really appreciated Stoker's writing. I am not finished but I will say Stoker's description of the country side and castle is so vivid it really sets the ambiance, dark, mysterious and foreboding. I envision the Count different than Stoker does, I grew up on the old BW movies so I see a more classic young Christoper Lee or Bela Lugois.

I finally started it! Gah. I've been reading so many other things and neglecting this one. I'm really enjoying the creepy atmosphere of it so far.
