Hi! I'm currently reading in An Ember in the Ashes. Also, listening to The Dream Thieves Both are Young Adult although that's not all I read.
Hi! Currently, I'm devouring The Raven Cycle series by Maggie Stiefvater. I've just finished the third book, Blue Lily, Lily Blue and loved it! Sally, you'll have to let me know how The Dream Thieves is going for you. Also, I've been enjoying a little bit of I Capture the Castle on the side, but one must have their priorities in life, and I simply can't put down The Raven Cycle for very long.
Hi Molly!
I must admit that The Dreams Thieves was not my favorite so far. I listened to it on CD because I couldn't find the book (what?!) and the reader was excellent. I found it violent and creepy though! (I wanted more romance maybe?) The author did a great job in continuing to develop the characters and the relationships - which means I'll probably be reading Blue Lily soon.
My daughter, Celia, who is 18, insisted I read The Scorpio Races which I highly recommend if you haven't read it yet. She put that on my "to-read" list years ago and I finally got to it. That's what turned me on to Maggie Stiefvater!

Hi!Actually, having just finished the series, I thought The Dream Thieves was somewhere in the middle. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't my favorite. I also defiantly saw the violent and creepy side, but I think it was an interesting turn in the story and a look into Ronan's side of things. I could also agree with wanting a bit more romance, but I'm glad it didn't completely overtake the story. I hope you enjoy Blue Lily!!!
Interestingly enough, The Scorpio Races was the first thing of hers that I read as well. It was an excellent read and the sort of book that I simply couldn't put down. I think I read most of it in a single sitting. Have you read her other series, Shiver? I've heard some good things about it, but I'm a little hesitant, as I'm not sure if it will live up to the high standards set by her other books.
Thanks!
