Name: Edward ‘Ed’ Jens Holtisson

Appearance: Ed is usually neatly dressed but in a casual manner. A normal button up shirt with a sweater along with dark pants and sneakers. His hair is always neatly combed, the style forced upon by his mother and at times his older sister, slicked back although he always ruffles it up afterwards.

Personality: Ed is a transparent boy; you’d easily tell what emotion he was feeling and would be quite obvious in his actions. Some might say he was ‘effeminate’ and is quite fragile. His strong determination is what drives him to his actions, though it may not be well thought out and brash. Ed’s a little gullible and naive due to his inexperience and knowledge in certain aspects and very hesitant when he’s alone.

History: Ed was born in Esdon, his parents were from a nearby town but resided there in their youth. He had always been interested in the town’s supernatural assets and it’s folklore. Ed had always believed that there were trolls in the Olehr Forest as it was forbidden to enter. He was in a group since childhood which comprised of Oliver Jansson, Ivar Erolsson, Ingrid Erolssdóttir and Lucas Gilsson. They were quite adventurous and would often go around Esdon to have fun. When Ed was 12, he began feeling romantic interest for Oliver. It was early afternoon when the group were in their casual spot at school, as it had just ended for the day. Ed, conflicted about confessing to Oliver, was quite tired as the group began their next adventure. They had planned to go into the forest that night, though Ed had wanted to go home and let the group go on without him. If he had known that his friends would go missing, he would’ve stopped them..

Relationships: Oliver Jansson; Ed was a childhood friend of Oliver. Over the years, friendship between the two blossomed into love for Ed. He was about to confess his love to Oliver but once he heard about the disappearance of his friends, including Oliver, he was crushed.

He sat on the edge of the lake’s dock, feet dangling as he stared at the rippling water with empty eyes. Ed wistfully sighed, his chest rising up and down in a fast pace. He was about to cry, no doubt. “He’s gone...He’s gone...I didn’t even get to tell him goodbye...I didn’t get to tell him…”
