Wow, we have a whole year to discuss and cry until the last, yes the last book in the series comes out. So, thoughts?

I think Mare might die.... In most sci-fi dystopian books, whenever the author decides to add extra perspectives in the middle of the series usually the main character dies.... So yeah... But I hope I'm wrong.

At this point, I don't want Mare to end up with Cal, or Maven. I think she has taken enough crap from both of them to never want them again, but I don't think that will happen. Aveyard likes the Marecal ship too much for it to just sink.

See I don't know about that, on one hand I don't want Mare to die, I want her to live and be happy with whoever, but on the other hand I think it would be a smart move for Aveyard to make, kind of like the ending of Allegiant, if you know what I mean

NO PLEASE! NOT like Allegiant. I mean I understood that it was unique, an epic sacrifice and all. But it was also one of the causes-for-dirty-dirty-crying.

Mare has come too far to die, but if she died at the end of the first book I would have loved that tragedy.

No, I agree Mare can't die now... After all of this, I think she may fall into the hands of Maven again

The next book will probably be focused on three goals/plots because of the three groups fighting. There will probably be less Mare and more Evangeline. Wouldn't it be great see Cal's pov!

Mare won’t die. If she didn’t die in the Bowl of Bones she won’t die now. Wouldn’t it have been great if she died in the Bowl of Bones. Plot twist after plot twist. She had no chance to survive as a red amping silvers. Anyone can betray anyone.

MARE AND MAVEN AND CAL CAN'T DIE. I LOVE THEM. Sorry for people who hate Maven but I personally think he's a really good character.

Well I know at least on of them is going to die (Maven or Cal) no matter what. Victoria is not going allow for everyone to be happy

I actually wouldn’t mind if Mare died. I would have loved it if she died in the Bowl of Bones: it would have been a spectacular tragedy.
