-_- have you check the list of the buddy reading books?
Also I'm probably going to put in requests quickly for the rest of the books. This one is the last I'll read. The library has all the rest on audio and this is a really easy series to listen to.
Luckily I searched again and the library has an omnibus edition so I checked that out.. we can at least time it together now!
Apologies.. my thoughts just tumble out of my head. I know, very stream of consciousness of me ;)
You should rephrase such as:
Apologies.. Kruppette's thoughts just tumble out of Kruppette's head. Kruppette knows, very stream of consciousness of Kruppette! ;)

When BotF meets Manifest Delusions!

Ugh anytime I think of manifest delusions I think about that disgusting huge dude with all the nooks and crannies. Such a good book though!

I would think you would think of the word rutting.

Favorite from the prologue-
(view spoiler)
Loving how BC is depicting the blood lust going into battle. And I like how he's talking as an old man, berating his wife for being pious. Shows he's still the same old cocky bastard as when he was young

Through chapter 7. At times you would almost think BC was a Danish writing pining over the Danes losing a war fought 1200 years ago. Although raises Catholic I'm not a fan of the major religions so Uth's comments crack me up.

That is funny, how far into the series are you?

I haven't finished book 4 yet (gets all squinty at Scott)"
I'm probably going to roll right into book 5 once it comes due at the library. I expect in the next few days.

I've read #6, so maybe 7 and on. You doing them one/month, or three a week like Scott?

I've put holds on the entire series and then I suspend the holds. So I'm #1 on all of them. When I lift the suspension a book can come due in an hour or fourteen days. Because the rest are all audio it's only going to take me a few days per book.

These are great as audios too. I've done some of them that way 2-5, I think. Though I read 1 and 6 on ebook.

I read 1, 2 and 4. The rest will all be audio. Two I read because the wait on the audio book was ridiculous. Four I read because for whatever season it's the one the library doesn't have on audio. I agree they good both ways.

Yeah I wish the library had these audio but they have all the ebooks so I can't justify doing audible for them
I'll slow down after the burning land and not remove the suspensions on my holds until you're caught up. I have holds on the last 3 Codex Alera books and I'm finishing off Moontide Quartet on Audible so that will give you some time to finish this and the next one.
Doing these on audio it's ridiculously fast. I just started book 5 this morning and I'm a third done.

Book #4 of the Saxon Stories/Warrior Chronicles.
Starting...... when our holds come in from the library
