March is in full swing. I late to the game. Sorry for the delay everyone.

For instructions on how to play for EPIC BRAGGING RIGHTS see our Take It or Leave It Mini Challenge Introduction.

This month’s challenges are:

1. "Life's a garden - Dig it!" Read a book set in a garden, about gardening or with type of flower in the title

2. Kiss Me I'm Irish - Read a romance set in Ireland or with a character who is Irish.

3. The Future is Grimm - Read a collection of Grimm Fairy Tales.

4. Robots in Disguise - Read a book where the main character is a cyborg or is trying to defeat an A.I. take over.

5. "Baby your a song" - Read a book whose title is also the title of a song.

6. The Book was better - Read a book with a movie tie in.

7. The book I'm looking for is green - Read a book with the color green on the front or back cover but not both.

In order to get points toward bragging rights and notoriety - post your completed challenges and books by April 3, 2017.

Kayzee | 71 comments I've started reading Irish Fairy and Folk Tales

I have some catching up to do on the March challenges

Kayzee | 71 comments Accidentally finished two:

6. Holes by Louis Sacher. Started this at the end of last month not knowing the relevance it would have to this month's challenges.
7. Irish Fairy and Folk Tales by Various. A very beautifully designed book with stories that were hit and miss for me. I think I was a little lost on the vernacular, but my fave was the last one that most like explains the name of one of the pubs I work for.

That's it for now, gonna try and see if I can squeeze one in this week.

Ann (ann-fracturedfiction) | 516 comments I've finished three:
1) The Masque of the Black Tulip by Lauren Willig
2) The Deception of the Emerald Ring (set in Dublin).
7) The Deception of the Emerald Ring has a green cover (at least most of it is green).

Melissa | 58 comments I didn't finish any books for the March Take it or Leave It challenge. Is the April one going to be posted soon? I'd like to get started so I can read some this month. I did read 4 books, but none for any of the challenges.

Jennifer had to go out of town so I am unsure of the status of the April Take It or Leave It challenge. It might become a shortened version for this month, but we'll keep you posted.

It happens. I hope everything is okay. I'm on unexpected leave from the library because I had surgery and I'm not allowed to lift or push more than 10 pounds for a month. That puts a damper on pushing my cart around and lifting some of the nonfiction books. Thanks for replying, Joanna!

Oh, no! I'm so sorry to hear about your surgery. I send good thoughts for a speedy recovery.

Kayzee | 71 comments If no one minds, I thought I post some ideas for a mini April Take it or Leave it. Obviously I won't award points, but maybe I can give you some ideas.

1. Easter Bunny: Read a book with a rabbit main character or has "Rabbit" in the title.
2. April Showers: Read a book with "Rain" in the title, or a book that features a major storm/flood
3. Diamonds are Forever: April's birthstone is a diamond, so read a book with "Diamond" in the title.

Ooohhh.... those are great! Do you mind if I take them and create an April Take It or Leave It thread? Jennifer isn't able to do it this month with everything going on.
