After calculating the votes , here are our group reads for this year :

The Moor's Account ... from May 1st to June 15
The Blue Between Sky and Water...from June 15 to July 31
The Woman Who Read Too Much ... from August 1st to September 15
An Unnecessary Woman.... from September 15 to October 31
Iraq + 100: stories from a century after the invasion.... from November 1st to December 15
The Automobile Club of Egypt.... from December 15 to January 31 (2018)

I definitely want read The Moor's Account, The Blue Between Sky and Water, An Unnecessary Woman and The Woman Who Read Too Much and will hold off reading them until the times of the group reads.

Do there really need to be discussion leaders? I've seen many discussion threads without. The few time I volunteered to be one here no one else even participated, so it makes me reluctant to volunteer again.
However I will definitely participate myself.

I missed it if we posted a message seeking volunteers. I would be glad to get a discussion kicked off, and lightly nurture it, any month but August.

I understand dear , sometimes it happens which is a puzzle because some members voted for the book ! we will see how we can arrange things . you have been a great help for us , thank you :)

Now I am feeling bad! If having a discussion thread will be determined by whether someone volunteers to be a discussion leader or not, I'll do it.
