Mrs. C. | 38 comments Oh, I'd forgotten about Five Red Herrings. Are re-reads do-able in the Challenge?

message 3: by Theresa (new)

Theresa | 29 comments I don't see why not but that is a question we should ask Peggy... I guess I was just assuming it was ok to add to your list (which is why I only chose 7 to start with).

Mrs. C. | 38 comments Thanks, Peggy. I haven't read that book since the 1980s! The only thing I can remember about it is the red-bearded Scotsman in the pub!

Theresa | 29 comments I think I will start the Sayer's 'Red Herrings' mystery next : ) I read it years ago and bet I've forgotten most of it.

Theresa, I never realized this book is set in Scotland and I have it on my shelf! Been there for years! I visited Kirkcudbright last year. Definitely reading this this year!

Theresa | 29 comments Wow you are SO lucky to have gone to Kirkudbright!! Maybe someday... DE Stevenson writes so engagingly about Scotland also, although that was sixty or so years ago... wonder how much has changed since then. Probably not much in the countryside anyway....
