Gore and More discussion

Hey!
I am looking for the scariest, and mainly the goriest books you've ever read!
The thing is, I don't want them to be plain gore (even though it can be awesome), but must contain a good plot and mainly needs to be a good book.
A bonus would be if its free as an eBook, just saying.

If this topic deserves a different folder, please let me know!.

Jack Ketchum novels can be gory and I just finished reading this book:
by Rick Hautala - this had some gore in it - it wasn't complete gore, but it had its moments throughout the book.

You should try my latest novelette, Red. Just read one or two reviews to get an idea how depraved it is.

The Resurrectionist was pretty bad. Or good, depending on whether you are a sick puppy or not.
