Keeper of the Lost Cities (RP) discussion

Name of Residence: Devendorf

Residents: Madeline Bruley, Martin Bruley, Leanne Bruley

Description of Residence: Blue crystal plains, with a dark sapphire shaped Brussel sprout houses. "Leaves" made of blue crystal. Inside the "sapphire Brussel sprout house", the floors are light blue marble, the walls made of dark marble. Each room has different coloured marble, most are shades of blue.

Madeline leapt to Foxfire for school, bag clutched tightly in her hand.

"See you, sweetie!" Leanne, her mother said.

Madeline leapt here, clutching Roblin's hand. She quickly dashed into her brussel sprout and up to her room.

((BRUSEEL SPROUT?!))

((Yea! The house looks like a brussel sprout))

((Wha- Why?! And where is Roblin? He can't leap without her crystal.))

((Wait))

((Okay. Continue then. Should Roblin be doing thangs at Foxfire?))

((No! He's here...))

((Wha... fine. Hey. You just edited that a minute ago! ))

Roblin looked around her room, mostly trying to find a way to escape.

((Then don't comment so quickly!))

Madeline then proceeded to lock the door and windows. "You said you'd tell. And you broke your promise!" She shouted.

"I didn't say when!" Protested Roblin, scared out of his wits. He backed up into one of the walls.

"Tell!" She shouted angrily, stepping closer. Truth be told, she felt like Roblin had broken her trust. She now knew that not trusting people was right.

Roblin shrunk a bit farther farther down the wall. "M-my parents..." He whispered.

"Do tell..." Madeline said sarcastically, sighing. She stepped closer, her eyes beginning to water. She knew that she was wrong trusting people.

Roblin swallowed, closing his eyes. "My parents died from a ogre attack. They had been led into a trap." He blurted.

"What trap?" Madeline asked curiously.

Roblin looked like he was about to be sick. "They were considering joining the Black Swan. But they didn't know a friend of theirs was in Neverseen." He covered his face to hide tears.

Madeline' eyes widened. "Oh...I'm sorry..." she whispered. "I didn't mean to..." She reached out her hand to comfort Roblin.

Roblin shrank away. "That's why Auntie doesn't like me having friends over." He explained softly. "He... he had led them to the orges." He pulled his cloak tighter around his shoulders and tugged at the door. "You got what you want, are you happy?!" He screamed horsely. "Now let. Me. Out!" He tugged at the door with each word.

"Oh..." Madeline whispered. She felt empathy and sympathy for Roblin, which really shocked her at the same time.

Madeline quickly gripped Roblin's arm. "I'm sorry. I didn't know..." She looked away sheepishly, feeling horrible that she'd brought that topic up.

Roblin took a few deep breaths. "I never." He looked up, eyes red. "Never want to see you again." He pulled his arm away and yanked the door again.

Madelin opened the door, then vanished. Her eyes welled up. She opened her mouth, but no voice came out. Tears started flowing out of her eyes. Her tears dropped onto Roblin's shoes.

Roblin pulled out his home crystal out of his cloak, tearing the fabric in his haste. He gave one last look that seemed full of regret to Madeline's room and leaped away.

Madeline sighed, placing her head in her hands.

((Now what?))

((Have Roblin go to school))

Madeline headed outside of her house, bag in her hand. There were tears all over her face, dry and wet.

She leaped to school.

Roblin and Madeline leaped here, Roblin clutching her shoulder. He flushed pink and let go.

"Come on! We don't have all day!" Madeline grabbed Roblin up to her room.

Roblin squeaked and grabbed his stuff, following her up.

Madeline threw her stuff onto her black bed covers, and dark blue and purple swirled pillows. "It's not a...nice room..." She said, rubbing her neck sheepishly.

"Are you kidding?" Roblin asked, spinning to take it all in. "I love it! My bedroom's just that; a room with a bed in it."

"Thanks." Madeline said, inviting Roblin to sit down.

Roblin fell onto the foot of the bed, fidgeting with his pocket telescope. "So, where should we work?"

"Wait." Madeline said. She pointed to a small set of stairs leading to the roof.

Roblin's eyes widened, and he stood up. "Cool..."

"Come on." Madeline whispered, heading up.

Roblin grinned and followed Madeline, taking the stairs two at a time. "This is kinda like my lab. I have a ladder going there from my room as well." He shook his head. "But you know that." It was weird. Before, only Auntie had ever been in his lab besides him. And that was to tell him to get his head out of the beakers and do his chores.

Madeline looked around, sighing at the peaceful sight. She was lost in her own thoughts for a moment.

Roblin reached the roof, and his jaw dropped. A gust of wind picked up, and his bangs flew into his face. He sputtered and pushed it back, craning his neck back to look at the stars. "Woah... you can see everything!"

Madeline smiled, coming back to reality. She giggled. "Is this the first time that you've seen 'everything'."

Roblin flushed. "Maybe..." He ran up to the side of the roof. "Look! You can see Foxfire from here!" He pointed to a sliver turret in the distance.

"I never realized that." Madeline said sarcastically.

"I know, right?" Roblin's smile faded. "That was a joke, wasn't it?" He sighed and started unpacking his telescope, glancing at a star map.

Madeline smiled softly.

"Should we start with Scorpious?" He asked, making the star maps float around him with wind.

Madeline shrugged.

Roblin angled the telescope and pulled on some gloves for handling the jars. After screwing a jar on the collect side of the telescope, he started messing with the levers, glancing back to the map every minute.

Madeline smiled, coming closer to Roblin.
