I just finished "Await . . . " I would be very interested in participating in the discussion and probably in the club's reading list if this is any example of the types of books you read.
I have just gotten to section 3, about 3/4 through. I am so glad that the weather is chilly and drizzly so that I have a good excuse for not gardening and reading instead.
I am anxious to see what happens....and hope I'm not disappointed!
Kallie, it would be great if you joined us for the discussion, 3rd Wed of April. During the summer members recomend and discuss which books we would like to read during the school year. We try to pick several genres and find that often we are surprised by a fine read that we didn't know anything about. "Await " is one of these for me.

Thank you, Patty. I would love to join in. I will follow others' lead to avoid risking spoilers. Do we want to wait until everyone in the group has read the book? One thing I can say, as in my review: Chaon's writing has raised my reading standards, at least for the time being. I can also say that I wasn't at all disappointed and there may be (judging from other reviews) reason for discussion there.
Here is my 4 star review. I didn't feel I could go into much detail without spoiling the story:
I really like Chaon's style and he wove the stories together wonderfully in the end. This is close to 5 stars for me but I figured things out sooner than I would have liked. Also, I would have liked more of a wrap up for many of the characters' stories.
