Anyone out there a fan?"
I go back to work tomorrow (just been to WOMAD!) but recently very little Children's or YA books have been donated. Things go in cycles!

Problem is they are American published. I think my daughter and I found them through the school book club or in the UK on a trip. Not many of them got to NZ which is a shame because they are what I consider classic 10 - 15 yrs books covering difficult topics well, she always was an honest in depth writer.

At Upper Hutt Public in the 1980s-90s there were certainly a fair number of shelves taken up with her books in both Children's and YA sections! I know 'cos I had to shelve them.

Anyone know where I can get the Tillerman series 2nd hand for my grandson?
And yes, I've tried Abe but they don't have 'em or only at horrific prices.
the book depository don't have 'em either.
I'd like the 7 volumes in the set but don't care really if I can get them!!!
