What's your favorite summer/beach read? Romance? Travel? Adventure?

I love to read romance with an exotic setting while I'm lazing on the beach. LOL Now if I'm fishing with my husband, I prefer a little suspense. What can I say? It keeps me awake! :)
I'm with you - gotta have romance in an exotic local while on the beach. Fishing with the hubby - yes, that's a whole different genre.
Yep. I do have a problem though. Maybe I need to tone it down a little while fishing. I get so involved with my book I miss the bites. LOL
I'm not a beach gal, prefer the mountains. Nothing like sitting on a deck in the crisp morning air, reading a sweet romance.
I agree, Carlene. Now if I was in my beloved Big Horns, I would be lazing by Meadowlark Lake with a nice romance in my hands. :)
I agree with Carlene and Renee. I prefer mountains. Heat doesn't agree with me. So why do I live in Texas? We retreat to our small cabin with ceiling to floor windows and it's surrounded by a forest. I enjoy a romance book with a bit of suspense while I lay on the sofa. The A/C and view out my windows enhance my relaxation.
At the Cali central coast with a good romance/adventure. Done it many times and hope to get a weekend over there this summer.

Mostly recreated in the Shoshone NF (Sunlight Basin area), but spent plenty of time in the Big Horns riding horses, camping, and fishing. An amazing place, which is why I set my Contemporary Western Romantic Suspense, Big Horn Storm, there. If you've read it, I hope you enjoyed it. If you haven't I hope you give it a try.
Kim, I grew up in Wyoming as well. From fishing and camping in the Big Horns to hunting in the Winds and Black Hills (near Newcastle), I love playing in the mountains. My favorite place in the world is a small high mountain lake in the Snowies. My series is set in that beautiful range. I'll have to check out your Big Horn Storm. :)
