Boy, he’s hungry. This morning I gave the dog chicken stew, a fresh meat alternative for dogs. Usually his nibbles are soaked in water a little bit. We really should have him taken to the vet for some teeth removal and clean-up of debris formed there, but right now we are too poor for that. The Casanova is now daddy to ten puppies, two litters of nine and one registered pup. His kennel owner took him for a day or two this weekend, to get some more puppies started in the womb of one their bitches. Our dog was slightly hurt after the two first attempts on his nose by her paw, because the bitch wouldn’t let him ride her again in the morning. I suppose it was successful mating. Who knows better than mother? My fiancé wants a male puppy from this litter. I am afraid he would leave me and take the dog with him, if I refused. We were riding home from some relatives, and he was seeing labs everywhere, even though it was probably just some mutt in front of us in the car. I fell asleep trying to think of a name for the new puppy. I guess it can’t be that bad, unless it destroys my every item and pees a lot on the floor. We rescued our dog a couple years back. He was on a chain on front of a house with a divorcing family indoors and kids wouldn’t walk him when their dad was working three shifts. We had no trouble whatsoever in the transition. I petted a lot this dog, and my fiancé told it to get on the backseat. We signed the papers. He hadn’t been vaccinated, and had a hot spot on his chin from a week earlier. We took him to a vet. Just removing the hair helped a lot. Since then when he weighed 45 kg, he’s gone down ten from being walked long walks and apparently fed less. We live on third floor. There’s no elevator and it would’ve been hard for him to walk the steps every day unless he had got more fit and panting less. We discuss I should put an advert on a site again that we are offering him for breeding purposes. He is now eight years old. We took him to a couple of shows, and he is a hunting dog. He’ll be doing some blood trails to get his hunting degree of sorts. I won’t be going to be a part of that very much, as I don’t even hunt. He is a typical male of the breed- nice and masculine head, enough of length of neck. His front angulation is correct and temperament is good. That’s what a judge said and he was from Portugal. In his first show he was a bit thin, could’ve used more bone.
