12%-ch1-3. All quite extreme in terms of set-up. Kind of suggests our main character is looking for someone to guide/mentor her.
Up to ch 8-25%-reminds me of another rather well-known series. Can see why it happens this way. Curious to know more about the new family.
Up to ch14-this subject really isn't doing any favours. As a 'romance' it's very akin to Aria and Ezra (sorry) but, no matter how you dress it up, it's crossing too many lines. Really liking Ryan-just curious to know who his real Tony is.

It made me think of Aria and Ezra as well.
It made me think of Aria and Ezra as well.
Up to ch18-pleased it's moved onto the other members of the family. Really want to see how Ryan and Hailey deal with their issues.
Finished. Kind of expected the ending, though I don't think it's all that credible. Lots to like about it, surprisingly. Still very uncomfortable with the basic idea.https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I finished reading this book last week. I wont post any spoilers, just give a general overview of how I felt about it. I guess I was just expecting a bit more scandal... I must have gotten the wrong impression after reading the synopsis so that was my fault. I shouldnt have had those expectations going in because as I was reading the book, I kept expecting things to happen that was just never going to happen! lol. Oh well! I gave it about 3.5 stars.. It think. The additional .5 was added because of Ryan. His situation really captured my heart.
I was expecting more scandal as well, usually these type of things blow up and someone ends up getting fired.

To Whom it May Concern,
It was easy to call us forbidden and harder to call us soulmates. Yet I believed we were both. Forbidden soulmates.
When I arrived to Edgewood, Wisconsin I didn’t plan to find him. I didn't plan to stumble into Joe's bar and have Daniel's music stir up my emotions. I had no clue that his voice would make my hurts forget their own sorrow. I had no idea that my happiness would remember its own bliss.
When I started senior year at my new school, I wasn’t prepared to call him Mr. Daniels, but sometimes life happens at the wrong time for all the right reasons.
Our love story wasn’t only about the physical connection.
It was about family. It was about loss. It was about being alive. It was silly. It was painful. It was mourning. It was laughter.
It was ours.
And for those reasons alone, I would never apologize for Loving Mr. Daniels.
