The Backlot Gay Book Forum discussion

I read almost exclusive M/M, and within it, I love speculative fiction. many authors bring up topics such as gay bashing, gay rights, transphobia, AIDS discrimination, etc in various guises and clever alternative perspectives. I love when authors can make social commentary without hitting you over the head and in new and unusual takes. I am curious with the current stakes in the USA government if people are coming across books written in 2017 by authors, who dare to use current situation in their books. please throw titles at me. I don't want to offend or start a debate on what is right or wrong with the current USA system, just want book titles in M/m fiction that broche topic. Much appreciated!!
